This week we are reading "Shutting out the Sky" - an expository nonfiction selection about early immigrants to the United States.
All of our ancestors were, at one time or another, immigrants to the US.
This week explore your family trees: learn about your parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and try to go back to the family member that was an original immigrant to the United States. Include pictures or drawings if you want.
We are interested in learning about your heritage! Perhaps you will discover something about yourself in the process.
