Ozark City Blows AYP Out of the Water!

Despite a reduced staff and being in proration, Ozark City Schools still excelled in EVERY area, at EVERY school, making Anual Yearly Progress (AYP) according to No Child Left Behind standards. This accomplishment speaks very highly of our teachers, staff, and students because the standard for reachin AYP increases every year.

Our upcoming fourth graders not only met the AYP standards in Reading and Math, they scored well above the required percentage. Over half of our students scored a '4' on the Reading section, a '3' being considered proficient and a '4' considered mastery.

Congratulations to our students! Great Job!
